Modern Organic Apartment
Jola Interiors was appointed to redesign a compact 1 bedroom apartment with the challenge of accommodating all of the client’s needs within the limited space.
We used white paint to enhance light reflection and promote an open feel, complemented by an earthy hue that echoed the field views from the bedroom. In the bedroom, we added a bold touch by using dark coloured panelling to anchor the space and create a striking focal point behind the bed.
The client’s primary concern was storage, as they struggled with cluttered surroundings and inadequate space for their belongings. We resolved this issue by maximising the use of vertical space with tall storage units, complemented by lower storage and open shelving at eye level to foster a sense of spaciousness. To maintain a budget-conscious approach, we incorporated the clients existing furniture while adding new pieces.
