Neutral Nursery
Jola Interiors was enlisted by the clients to design their baby’s nursery in their 2-bedroom apartment. Given the apartment’s limited size and the clients modest budget, we developed a concept that maximised storage while also allowing for ample floor space as the baby grows older.
The design prioritised gender neutrality at the client’s request. Therefore, an earthy colour palette was selected, coupled with natural materials to establish a gentle and cosy ambiance.
A significant consideration in the design was to create a space that would facilitate the baby’s development and growth through Montessori principles. This was accomplished through the incorporation of soft décor at eye level, coupled with practical storage at ground level for the baby to engage with.
